From Teardrop to Teardrop
Arguably the most timeless characteristic on an automobile is the relatively unchanging style of the Porsche 911. The picture below shows off how little the roof line and overall body curves remained the same over the decades. You could almost extrapolate what the next generation 911 will look like. I wasn’t a huge fan of the 996 series, which not only signified the end of air-cooled engines but introduced those blobby-eyed headlights. One of the striking points of the 997s is the return to the original styled elliptical headlights.
My favorite series of 911’s has to be the 993. Classy lines all around and it isn’t overly-cluttered, perfect.
