BMW M1 Procar
I’ve been listening to rotaries for so long now, I almost forgot that piston engines can sound good too… Like this BMW M1 for example, doing some laps around the Silverstone GP Circuit in England. You’ll want to watch this in HD.
Bridging the Gap
Fixed gears are undoubtedly “trendy” right now, and there’s a lot of different and sometimes heated opinions on it. Regardless of what people think, they are fun to get around on. I found it interesting that the guy in the video below rides BMX and Dirtjumps, while uses a fixed gear to commute.
Jiggy Getting Jiggy With it
Well, I definitely wasn’t expecting that to happen. That’s M Power for you… buckle up next time BRO, safety first!
Mercedes 190
These have always been the iconic Mercedes model, and I personally would love to have one to cruise around in.
Also check out this video of a Hillclimb, that Judd V8 makes some sweet noises…
Let Go, Longboarding Video
This video has some really deep atmosphere to it, not to mention strong cinematography work. Features Kevin Chin on a Comet Voodoo Doll board and Adam Colton behind the camera.
Chicken Adobo Fixed Gear
Haven’t posted here in awhile. Sorry about that. But I made an edit, clips from the last couple of days. Some leftover footy while helping out filming for Gnarcotix. Hope you all like it, enjoy.
GORILLA Kilroy
Props for a cool frame built to handle punishment and abuse. Well put-together video with some cool riding as well. Here’s what they had to say about the particular frame:
After slamming and breaking our prototypes in public and in front of cameras, we finally started production of the Kilroy frame. The tests that Wonka ran lead to the conclusion that we had to manufacture a tube set just for this frame, with particular reinforced parts to absorb and handle the stress of the jumps. Together with Columbus we decided to change the alloy in order to avoid very thick and heavy tubes and gain in strength nevertheless. We are proud to present the first freestyle frame in Niobium steel. The Columbus Niobium steel is a special micro alloyed steel with Manganese, Chrome, Nickel, Molybdenum and Niobium that is designed to provide superior mechanical properties
Built to be Driven
The owner of this Lotus Exige is definitely one with a purpose-built mentality. Exiges come stock very race-oriented, but apparently that still wasn’t enough for this guy. He redid the car with a custom widebody and an engine build with a compound charger (both turbo and superchargers). The result is 550whp worth of blistering precision.
Here’s a video of one of the “runs”
Dirtjumpers Russian Style
Great riding and camera quality, with that EurAsian flair.
Illtech’s GTR
Driving Sports TV takes a look at Illtech’s GTR project and its build process.
MacAskill Bikes to Work
Keeping in theme of biking to work, MacAskill does this video for a Scottish recruitment site. The talent is impressive as always. This time around, the cinematography work is much more artsy.
One Gear, No Idea. Chris Akrigg
When I said that you’d be hearing from me soon. I wasn’t joking.
First off Chris Akrigg is a six-time National british trials champion. He rides for mongoose. Yes, Mongoose. He may be new to the fixed gear world, but he isn’t new to cycling. It’s awesome seeing him transfer his trials skills, to a track bike. After watching this video, I feel that it’s safe to say. He’s one of the best out there. On any bike, that is.
Now let’s see if Danny MacAskill will hop on a track bike.
Timmy Theus Edit
Vinyl BMX recently welcomed aboard Timmy to their team, and shows off some smooth riding in this video. Great style and a lot of pop to his jumps.
FEATURE: The 240SX Tango
This was a fun little project to get some first-hand drifting footage for the site. The actual filming process took some patience because finding “spots” during the day time wasn’t easy. On top of that, we couldn’t stay at a single area too long so, evidently, we had to keep going back in order to get enough clips. The guys driving do it for fun on the side. Peep the vid.

Bike Checking with GNARCOTIX
So a couple posts ago I mentioned I got some footage with some of the Gnarcotix crew. It ended up being a bike check by 3 of their members, thought it’d be a cool way to show an alternative, more behind-the-scenes side of the action.
This is Carl’s bike. It’s a Volume Cutter that he painted to a flat black with a fade to the original purple paint. Rocking a GRANDMIGHTY sponsored (sort of) 26″ front wheel.
Have a look at the Bike Check video, featuring members Resil, Axel, and Carl.
Let’s Get Mystical
Saw this on the come up, Mutiny Bikes puts out some good video production. Their previous endeavor, Stoked on Being Pumped was some good stuff as well. This new video is coming out on September, 2009, and it looks even better.
Storming Pikes Peak
Professional rally driver Marcus Gronholm takes the wheel of a 800HP Ford Fiesta RallyCross and runs up the Pikes Peak course. This is a tribute to the famous Climb Dance run held at Pikes Peak in the past. The sounds alone in this video will make it worth watching. You will never look at Fiestas the same way again.
Defgrip Video 09
Have a look at this video brought to you by the folks from Defgrip. It has a smooth collection of various wall rides and grinds. Apparently filming for this clip took place in Berlin, Germany to Connecticut to New York.
Bend Oregon Bike Edit
This video was originally done for a local Film Festival in Bend, Oregon. It has more up and down jumping footage than you could possibly need in its 9 minutes span. There are a few interesting, short interview segments in between clips as well of the… Oregonians.
Trials Riding of Both Nature
Bike Trials is a pure form of skill, not to mention extremely entertaining to watch. It initially grew out of Spain and all the riders have specialized bikes with (usually) no seats and relatively short suspension travel. Huge emphasis on balance and brake modulation.
Here’s the video that stunned the world, by rider Danny MacAskill:
Impressive indeed. When you drop in a motor on one, it looks so much fun…
GNAR. On top of that, you can do crazy ass crap like terrorize your nearest metropolitan area and get away with it. Not like anyone can really catch you…
