note to self: squealing on the rear brakes so check ‘em first.

Brake Adjusting 101

adjust barrel adjuster(last thing resort) / tighten cable (priority)
squeeze brakes and loosen cable bolt
pull cable to desired tension (so it’s about even with the other brake pad)
tighten bolt
test brakes for rubbing (if so…)
adjust caliper (via caliper adjuster)
micro adjust if necessary (if one brake pad still catches first)
