Random Act – Recording Session #1

so today was the first day that Random Act recorded at the studio in Long Beach City College. it was pretty cool to record again. last time was when i was with my old band The Midnight Swordance (TMS). definitely took advantage of this opportiunity since i didn’t record with a click track when i recodded with TMS. recorded some vocals, guitar, and some drums.

here’s some pictures that were taken by me and Ron.

overall, it was pretty cool to record again. didn’t help that i felt sick the whole time though. recording session #2 will be coming up soon. going to re-record vocals since mario and ron were kinda sick. and on top of that, still gotta record keys, bass, and electric guitar.

so it was my turn to fail.

Heather was hungry so i was planning on getting her some Sushi Cal. She’s usually doesn’t wanna say what she wants so i decided to text her:

Let’s make this easy. Tell me what you want. =)

at the same time, i was thinking about taking my homie Lainard with me to get some sushi. i sent my text hoping i’d get an answer of what she wants to eat until i realize… I SENT IT TO LAIRNARD! :FACEPALM:

it was too late to cancel the text because the phone said Message Sent so i tried calling him instead…

Dialing…

Call Ended.

i knew i had to beat him to reading the text so i called him with my house phone… MISSION: FAILED

he starts laughing as soon as i start talking on the phone. tried to explain myself and everything… of course, reading such a message that’s meant for a girl friend? people can misinterpret the message into something even… provacative. that isn’t the case luckily (and shouldn’t ever be). =P

Lainard did realize why would i ever send a text asking what he wants from me? from then, he knew it was for Heather. and that i wasn’t being gay or anything. >__< lol

well, fail moment indeed. gotta think more before i unsconsciously do. =P

lesson learned.

i saw the widebody staggered set last friday on a Chrysler Conquest TSi at Denny’s. gosh, i wanted to snatch those wheels from that owner or at least leave a not asking if they’d sell them. -___-
